HILL Skopje for its Client, a renowned company which operates in the field of production, wholesale and retail of agricultural products in Albania and abroad, is looking for a strategist and a leader who will be a milestone in their further development, undertaking the position of 

Managing Director

location: Albania

  • University degree / Postgraduate in areas related to agribusiness / economic
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience on a managerial position / retail and distribution 
  • Proficiency in English language; Albanian language would be advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to plan and set work priorities
  • Ability to conceptualize complex problems into analytical and operational frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience working and interacting with a variety of stakeholders and demonstrate ability to collaborate well across disciplines and key institutions or partners 
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively
  • Ability to coordinate the work and relevant projects; ability to work in groups and to take initiatives;
  • Willingness for frequent travelling and for relocation during the working week
  • Run the company under a long-term strategic plan that is consistent with its mission
  • Ensure economic and financial performance of the company, business growth and development by reaching new markets and exploring new opportunities for the company
  • Manage and supervise the work in the company so that it is within the framework of the approved plans and budgets 
  • Developing and implementing company strategy, policies and relevant operational procedures in close collaboration with production, marketing and sales managers
  • Report and inform shareholder and Board of Directors of the company on financial results, challenges, opportunities and any other important aspects of strategic operations of the company
  • Provide guidance to reporting line managers in order to develop monthly, seasonal and annual plans by giving them clear goals and objectives on the inputs, outputs and expected returns, as well as deadlines for their execution
  • Ensure that production conditions and product quality are in compliance with goverment regulations and consumer health and safety national and international standards
  • Ensure the implementation of company’ regulations through all the levels of the company and continuously monitoring and improving regulations based on the context of specific operations related to the industry and company itself
  • Represent the company in negotiations with potential contractors within and abroad the country
  • Establishing and managing effectively human resources in order to create a productive and efficient work environment where dominates respect for work, professionalism and cultural diversity of every employee in the company
